Our Wooltrace range takes provenance further still, spinning British Bluefaced Leicester and Romney fibres into 4ply and DK weight yarns, all traceable back to the very farm they came from.

Laxtons mill in Baildon, West Yorkshire, has crafted natural fibre yarns for four generations, and it's still where we spin today.

In 2020 we launched our first handknit collection, By Laxtons, to put our yarn straight into makers' hands.

Today we are evolving the brand into bramble & fleece. Every one of our natural fibres is sourced with care and spun here at our Yorkshire mill.
